Patriot Outdoor Storage is owned and run by James Cox, an Air Force veteran.
The service did not end with the uniform. After leaving the Air Force, James spent more than twenty years working alongside the State Department and a range of military organisations — two decades of work in which being trusted with other people’s property, and being straight with them about it, was the whole job.
That is the standard the lot is run to. The name on the sign is not a marketing choice.
A discount for people who served
Twenty percent off for veterans who commit to a six-month stay and pay the first and last month in advance. Cannot be combined with the annual discount.
Mention it when you call and James will apply it to your agreement.
You deal with the owner
Not a call centre, not an app that raises a ticket. If a gate code stops working or you need to get in early for a Saturday launch, you call and James answers.
No deposit, no long-term commitment
Outdoor space is $75 a month and an enclosed 10 × 10 unit is $95. There is no deposit and nothing binding you to a term — the veteran discount above is the one place a commitment comes into it, and that is your choice to take or leave.
Come and look
The lot is on Swamp Fox Highway east of Tabor City. The gate is open seven days a week from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, and office hours are by appointment — call ahead and James will meet you there.
